I could go on and on about why birth stories are my favorite. This story was a c-section, and considering that I don’t see those every day, it was definitely exciting! Each birth story challenges me in a different way, and I love it! I also really love that a birth story is a birth story… regardless of how it happens! Lubbock Birth Story Photographer
Since this was a scheduled c-section, I knew where to be and when. I showed up to Labor & Delivery at 6:30 am, and got dressed in a scrub cap and blue sheet/dress. I was in good favor with the physicians running the show, so I got to be right there through the whole thing. Soon after, the nurse wheeled Miesha to the operating room, and all the action began! The entire process is really fast, so I had to be on my toes to make sure I caught everything.
After being in recovery for a while, Miesha and sweet baby Monroe got to see the family that had been patiently waiting for them. It is the sweetest thing to see family meet and love on a new baby. Especially Monroe’s darling big brother!
I really loved this entire experience. I could hardly narrow down the pictures, so beware. There are a lot. Enjoy!
